Banana & peanut butter ice cream

Ingredients

  • tick1 bunch ripe bananas
  • tick3 tbsp Chantal Organics Smooth Peanut Butter
  • tick¼ tsp ground cinnamon
  • tick½ tsp vanilla extract
  • tickA handful blanched peanuts, toasted and crushed
  • tick1 or 2 resealable bags (our granola bags are ideal to reuse here)

instructions

  • Step 1.

    Peel the bananas and slice each one in 4-5 pieces. Place into your resealable bags in a single layer and pop in the freezer for 2 hours or until the banana pieces are just frozen.

  • Step 2.

    Place the frozen bananas in a blender and blitz several times until they turn smooth & creamy. Add vanilla, cinnamon and peanut butter. Blend until smooth.

  • Step 3.

    Serve straight away topped with peanuts.
