Life Changing Loaf With Hemp Seeds

Ingredients

  • tick1 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
  • tick 3/4 cup golden linseeds
  • tick ½ cup brazil nuts, roughly chopped
  • tick 3/4 cup Chantal Organics Hemp Seeds
  • tick 1/4 cup Chantal Organics Hemp Protein Powder
  • tick 2 tbsp Chantal Organics Chia Seeds
  • tick 4 tbsp psyllium husk
  • tick 1 tsp sea salt
  • tick 1 tbsp honey, melted
  • tick 3 tbsp Chantal Organics Virgin Coconut Oil, melted
  • tick 1 ½ cups hot water
  • To Serve (optional)
  • tickAvocado, sliced
  • tickChantal Organics Hemp Seed Oil
  • tickSea salt, to taste
  • tickWe used a Le Creuset heritage baker.

instructions

  • Step 1.

    Mix all the dry ingredients together in a bowl.

  • Step 2.

    Add the honey, coconut oil and hot water to the dry ingredients. Mix well.

  • Step 3.

    Line a bread tin with greased baking paper. Pour the seeded mixture in and leave for 2 hours (or overnight) – it should thicken in this time.

  • Step 4.

    Preheat oven to 175C.

  • Step 5.

    Bake the loaf for 40 minutes. The bread is done when it sounds hollow when tapped.

  • Step 6.

    Turn out of bread tin onto a rack. Let cool completely.

  • Step 7.

    Slice and serve the loaf with avocado, a drizzle of hemp seed oil and a pinch of sea salt.
