Crunchy Asian Slaw with Sesame-Chili Dressing
This fresh, crunchy salad is quick to make and a tasty side dish or for lunch with friends. Crisp vegetables are tossed in a savoury sesame, tamari, and lime dressing with a gentle chili and ginger kick, then finished with peanuts and coriander.
Ingredients
- For the salad
1/2 a white cabbage, thinly sliced
1/2 a red cabbage, thinly sliced
2-3 large carrots, grated
1/2 cup sweet peas, chopped
½ cup peanuts, roughly chopped
½ cup fresh coriander, chopped
- For the dressing
4 tbsp Chantal Organics Tamari Soy Sauce
3 tbsp Chantal Organics Toasted Sesame Oil
1 tsp Liquid Chilli
1 tbsp Liquid Ginger
1 tsp sugar
½ tsp sea salt
1/2 lime

Step 1.
Place all dressing ingredients into a small bowl. Whisk together until well combined. Set aside.

Mix all prepared veggies into a large salad bowl.

Step 3.
Add the dressing to the vegetables and mix until evenly coated.

Before Serving
Sprinkle the peanuts and coriander over the salad.
