Hearty Spaghetti Bolognese

  • Step 1.

    Finely chop onion, carrot, and celery. Heat the oil in a saucepan and sauté for a few minutes.

  • Step 2.

    Add the meat and continue to sauté until meat has browned. Stirring often.

  • Step 3.

    Add chopped tomatoes, tomato purée, and red wine or broth. Stir to combine. Simmer on medium heat for 30-60 minutes. Stir occasionally.

  • Step 4.

    Meanwhile, prepare the pasta noodles as per packet instructions.

  • Step 5.

    Taste and flavour the bolognese with Liquid Herbs, salt, and pepper to taste.

  • Serving Suggestion:

    Serve with freshly grated parmesan.
