No ratings yet.

Ingredients

  • tick1 cup Chantal Organics Rye Flour
  • tick1/4 cup Chantal Organics Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
  • tick1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
  • tick1/4 cup sesame seeds
  • tick2 tbsp flaxseeds
  • tick1 tbsp Chantal Organics Hemp Seeds
  • tick1/2 tsp sea salt
  • tick1/4 tsp baking powder
  • tick3 tbsp Chantal Organics Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • tick1/3 cup water

instructions

  • Step 1.

Preheat oven to 200°C. Cut two pieces of baking paper to fit a baking tray.

  • Step 2.

Mix the flour, oats, seeds, salt and baking powder in a bowl.

  • Step 3.

Add the oil and water and mix until just combined. Do not overmix. The dough needs to be firm yet spreadable. Add a bit more water if needed.

  • Step 4.

Put the mixture onto the baking paper and slightly flatten. Top with the other piece of baking paper and use a rolling pin to roll the dough to fit across the paper.

  • Step 5.

Remove the top layer of baking paper and carefully slide the remaining baking paper onto the baking tray. Score the dough with a sharp knife into approximately 24 rectangles.

  • Step 6.

Bake for 18-20 minutes. The tops will be dry and firm and the edges beginning to darken.

  • Step 7.

Allow the crackers to cool a few minutes and break along the score lines.

  • Step 8.

Store in an airtight container for 7-10 days.
