Salted Almond Butter Fudge
This homemade fudge is easy and quick to make, so makes the perfect gift when your in a pinch. It’s deliciously gooey, chocolatey and plant-based (although tasty enough for anyone!). Change the toppings to suit the tastes of your recipient to make it extra special.
Ingredients
- Fudge
- 1 jar Chantal Organics Almond Butter
- 5 Medjool dates, pitted & soaked in hot water
- 1 tsp Chantal Organics Virgin Coconut Oil
- 4 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla bean paste
- ⅓ cup cacao powder
- Topping
- 1 tsp salt
- ⅓ silvered almonds

Step 1.
Line and grease a small baking dish or tin.

Step 2.
Add all fudge ingredients to a blender and blitz until smooth. (You may need to pulse your blender if it is not high speed.) Press into the prepared dish.

Step 3.
Sprinkle with topping and press down with your hands or a spatula. Pop in the fridge to set, for at least an hour, then slice into squares. (It’s best to store them in the fridge.)

Tip 1.
You can try new flavours by adding ½ tsp ginger powder or changing the vanilla paste to ½ tsp peppermint extract. Feel free to sprinkle the top with other nuts or freeze dried fruit powders.

Tip 2.
These can be rolled into balls for delicious fudgy bliss balls instead.
