Nectarine Tart

​Nothing beats summer stone fruit, and even more so when it’s part of a delectable dessert! We can’t get enough of this delicious tart made by the lovely Tereza Poljanic!



  • ½ cup Chantal Organics Brown Rice Flour
  • ½ cup barley flour
  • A pinch of Chantal Naturals Sea Salt Fine
  • 1 tbsp Chantal Organics Golden Sugar
  • ¼ cup Chantal Organics Coconut Oil (melted)
  • 2 tbsp almond milk (we love Isola Bio)

Filling 1

  • 1 cup coconut yoghurt
  • 2 tbsp Chantal Organics Brown Rice syrup or Apple Syrup
  • A pinch of Chantal Naturals Sea Salt Fine
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • Zest of 1 lime
  • 2 nectarines
  • Fresh mint


​1. Add coconut oil and almond milk to a bowl. Mix in the rest of the ingredients and knead into a dough.

2. With a rolling pin, roll the dough to 0.5cm thick, and bake it at 190 degrees Celsius for 15min on a lined baking tray. Remove from oven and set aside to cool.

3. Meanwhile make the filling. Mix all of the ingredients together in a bow, expect for the nectarines. Leave aside.

4. Slice the nectarines in preparation for topping.

5. When the base has completely cooled, spread the filling evenly across it and top with sliced nectarines and sprigs of mint.
