This quick and tasty smoothie will boost your energy levels and your brain power too. Hemp and chia are two tiny seeds that are packed with powerful nutrients including essential fatty acids, carbohydrates, protein, fibre, antioxidants and calcium. Blend them together to create a creamy goodness that will fuel your mind all day long. Let’s drink to that smarty-pants!
- 4 Tbsp Chantal Organics Chia Seeds
- 1 ½ cups filtered water*
- 2 tsp Chantal Organics Kale or Spirulina Powder
- 2 Tbsp Chantal Organics Hemp Seeds
- 2 Tbsp Chantal Organics Hemp Protein
- 1 Tbsp Chantal Organics Coconut Oil
- 1 Tbsp sunflower lecithin
- ¼ tsp Chantal Organics Cinnamon Powder
- 1 tsp honey or maple syrup
- 1 Tbsp bee pollen (optional)
1. Blend chia seeds on low speed with water for 45 seconds.
2. Add the remaining ingredients – except bee pollen – and blend on high.
3. Sprinkle bee pollen on top, and you’re in for a real treat!
*Note: This makes a delicious thick pudding, but only works with a high-speed blender. If you don’t own one and just want to make this as a smoothie, use only 2 tablespoons of chia seeds.
